Cloud Engineer

Our client in the greater Salt Lake City, Utah area is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cloud professional to design, build, and support highly available cloud environments while partnering closely with software engineering and infrastructure teams. Please Note: 100% onsite (5 days per week in Murray, UT)W2 only (No Corp-to-Corp or 3rd Parties)No visa sponsorship availableOpen to U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, TN, H4 EAD, and GC EAD Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.Lead cloud architecture and infrastructure initiatives supporting enterprise applicationsAutomate infrastructure deployments and operational processesCollaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.Troubleshoot complex production issues and optimize cloud performance.Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on cloud initiatives.Promote cloud security, operational excellence, and infrastructure best practices. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field7+ years of systems, infrastructure, or cloud engineering experience3+ years of cloud experience.Strong experience supporting Linux-based environment.Experience working closely with development and operations teams.
