OCD is one of the most severe, prevalent, and misunderstood mental health conditions. NOCD creates access to online therapy for people with OCD through our telehealth platform. In the NOCD app, Members can quickly access and schedule live, face-to-face video therapy sessions with our national network of licensed Therapists that specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) - considered the "gold standard" in OCD treatment. Opportunity Overview NOCD is looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong software engineering background to help build, deploy, and scale the infrastructure powering our digital behavioral health platform. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll split your time between building application features and improving the infrastructure that supports them. You'll work across the full stack while also owning cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and developer tooling. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Design to ship customer-facing features while ensuring our platform remains secure, reliable, and scalable. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing production code, automating infrastructure, and improving the developer experience. What You'll Do Software Engineering Design, build, and maintain full-stack product featuresWrite clean, maintainable backend and frontend codeBuild and consume REST APIs and microservicesParticipate in architecture discussions and code reviews DevOps & Infrastructure Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using TerraformImprove CI/CD pipelines and deployment automationManage Kubernetes and Docker environmentsMonitor system health and improve observabilityTroubleshoot production issues across applications and infrastructureImprove reliability, scalability, and security across the platformCollaboration Partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teamsHelp improve engineering workflows and developer toolingParticipate in incident response and production support Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software engineering experienceStrong experience building modern web applicationsExperience with Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar backend languagesExperience building frontend applications with React or similar frameworksExperience with AWSExperience using Terraform for Infrastructure as CodeExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)Experience with Git and modern software development practicesStrong understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systemsStrong problem-solving and debugging skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working in healthcare or regulated environmentsExperience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, etc.)Experience with microservices and event-driven architecturesExperience supporting production applicationsExperience improving deployment automation and developer workflows Why Work with NOCD We’re committed to supporting your growth, both professionally and personally.
