Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) SCBX Group is leading the next phase of AI transformation across the SCBX Group. If you’re looking for meaningful work, cutting-edge challenges, and the chance to help shape the future of AI in financial services, we’d love to meet you In this role, you’ll get to: You will be responsible for designing and developing a comprehensive QA program, which includes creating automated testing strategies and utilizing appropriate tools to ensure efficiency and coverage. You will design and execute usability tests, thoroughly documenting and reporting your findings to the design team. Interaction with clients may be required to understand their product requirements thoroughly.Own the QA engineering role throughout each project and be responsible for data qualityInteract with both internal and external stakeholders to gain the understanding of product requirementsAnalyze user stories and/or use cases/requirements for validity and feasibilityParticipating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problemsDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases/scenarios, and automated test scripts for data validation and manipulation.Ensure the quality and consistency of test scoping, planning execution, and reportingMaintain test plan and keep team members apprised of the project status; provide timely warning of project issues; anticipate and mitigate risksAnalyze test results on database impacts, errors, or bugs, and usabilityBe responsible for generating reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team including reporting test progress and test status to QA Team lead as well as track issues to related partiesDesign and create a versatile test automation framework compatible with various data processing system architectures Who we are looking for: We’re looking for someone who is: Detail-oriented and passionate about data quality and system reliabilityStrong analytical thinking and able to identify risks early in development lifecycleComfortable working with data-intensive system and complex workflowsProactive, ownership-driven, and able to work in a fast-moving, cross functional environmentAble to communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholdersFocused on delivering high quality solutions that support business impactStrong understanding in business context and ability to validate solutions against business logic, customer experience, and expected outcomes Technical foundation: Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test design, and automation frameworksExperiences testing data pipelines, data warehouses, or BI environmentHands-on experience with SQL and data validation techniquesExperience developing automation scripts (Python preferred)Understanding of data structures, ETL processes, and data lifecycleFamiliarity with test management and defect tracking toolsExperience validating system integration and data interfacesKnowledge of CI/CD and automated testing practicesFamiliarity with Linux/Unix environments is a plusExperience in Databricks, cloud data platform, or big data environments (preferred)Experience testing AI/ Machine Learning solutionsExperience building automated test frameworks for data or APIsKnowledge of data governance and data quality standards Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in data or analytics environmentsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldExperience working in Data Warehouse, Data Lake, or large-scale data systemsStrong-problem solving and analytical skillsExperience working in agile or product bases development teamsGood communication skills and ability to work with cross functional stakeholders
