Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

IBM Digital Talent for Business is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (1 year contract) to join our team. Key Responsibilities Develop test plans and testing schedules for new releases and maintenance fixes.Design, manage, and execute comprehensive test cases based on business requirements.Review and validate test cases created by other teams.Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA, working closely with developers through resolution.Develop and enhance automated test scripts using established automation frameworks.Ensure all testing activities are completed on schedule while maintaining high-quality standards.Create and maintain testing documentation and automation artifacts.Support customer issues through troubleshooting and validation testing. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 7 years of experience as a QA/Test Engineer in software development.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.Hands-on experience with:JIRASQL or Azure Data StudioPostmanSoapUIJMeterSeleniumRobot FrameworkExperience with API automation is highly preferred.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.QA certifications are an advantage.
