Job Highlights laptop to be provided (pickup from Makati Office) Role Summary 1 1 The Mid-Level L3 Technical Support Engineer (PHP Developer) is responsible for providing advanced technical support, troubleshooting complex application issues, and developing system enhancements using PHP technologies. The role serves as the highest level of application support, ensuring system stability, performance, and continuous improvement while supporting end-users and business operations. Responsibilities Provide Level 3 (L3) support for production and business-critical applications.Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues escalated from L1 and L2 support teams.Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive solutions.Develop, maintain, and enhance applications, modules, and integrations using PHP.Analyze application logs, database records, and system performance metrics to identify issues and optimize system functionality.Support application deployments, patches, upgrades, and release activities.Collaborate with business users, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution.Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base articles.Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and post-production support activities.Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and system reliability requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in application development, technical support, or system maintenance.At least 2 years of hands-on PHP development experience.Proven experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application and system issues in production environments.Experience providing technical support and assistance to end-users and business stakeholders.Strong knowledge of web application architecture and software development lifecycle (SDLC).Ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective technical solutions. Technical Skills PHP (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, or similar frameworks)MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, or other relational databasesHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQueryRESTful APIs and Web ServicesGit, GitHub, GitLab, or other version control systemsLinux/Unix environment (preferred)SQL scripting and database troubleshootingApplication monitoring and log analysis Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting enterprise or government applications.Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies is an advantage.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
