Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Azure Salary: Up to 70k Location: Bristol (Hybrid) We're looking for a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing technology team responsible for designing, automating, and supporting modern cloud environments. This is a hands-on technical role with opportunities to influence platform strategy, improve operational resilience, provide technical leadership, and mentor colleagues across the business. What you'll be doing Designing and deploying scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.Building and maintaining automation pipelines to improve deployment quality, efficiency, and platform consistency.Acting as the senior technical escalation point for complex platform and infrastructure issues.Leading improvements in reliability, monitoring, performance, resilience, and operational maturity.Working closely with security, architecture, and engineering teams to design and deliver robust cloud solutions.Supporting governance, compliance, and best-practice standards across cloud environments.Contributing to technical roadmaps, cloud strategy, and transformation initiatives.Producing clear technical documentation, sharing knowledge, and mentoring colleagues across the team. What we're looking for Extensive experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud platforms.Strong hands-on knowledge of infrastructure automation, Infrastructure as Code, and modern deployment practices.Experience with cloud networking, security controls, identity management, and governance.Strong scripting and automation skills.Background in platform engineering, infrastructure operations, or cloud services.Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, lead root cause analysis, and drive them through to resolution.Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, and influencing engineering best practice.
