Hiring: Senior Software Developer (Level 6) Location Near-site (On-site)Warsaw, Poland Contract Details Initial contract: 12 monthsRenewable up to 48 months in totalStart date: From October 2026Full-time assignment (approximately 220 working days per year)No on-call dutiesNo travel foreseen Role Overview As a Senior Software Developer, you will participate in the analysis, design, development, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-scale software solutions. You will contribute throughout the complete software development lifecycle while collaborating within Agile development teams. Key Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise software solutions.Lead technical development teams.Translate business requirements into technical designs.Design and develop data, business logic, and user interface layers.Optimize software for performance, security, scalability, and quality.Produce and maintain technical documentation.Estimate development effort and timelines.Define and enforce software development standards.Propose technical solutions for business and technical challenges.Collect and interpret software quality and performance metrics.Manage software configuration and releases.Support requirements analysis, testing, quality assurance, deployment, and change management.Develop testing tools and perform software testing.Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts.Provide second- and third-line technical support. Mandatory Requirements Education Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another ICT-related discipline. Experience Minimum 6 years of relevant IT professional experience.Minimum 3 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a similar position.Experience delivering complete software development lifecycle projects.Experience developing enterprise-level software solutions.Strong UML design skills.Experience designing data, business logic, and presentation layers.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Ability to lead technical teams.Strong technical documentation skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Experience Experience developing solutions related to the Schengen Information System (SIS).Experience implementing biometric solutions, including:Fingerprint scanning using NIST standards.MRZ document scanning (passports, ID cards, driving licences, visas, residence permits).RFID-enabled biometric document processing. Language English: Minimum B2 level. Certifications At least one advanced software development certification or an internationally recognized equivalent.
