BlueFit is a national leader in leisure management, overseeing aquatic, fitness, and community venues across Australia with a simple but powerful mission: Inspire Community Activity. Supporting our network of sites is a high-growth, fast-paced digital team. We’re on the lookout for a creative Web Designer / Developer to join us full-time at our Essendon Site Support Office. This is an on-site, 5-day-a-week role in Essendon where you can truly take ownership of our digital presence! The Role We need someone who sits right at the intersection of design and development. You will be responsible for making sure our websites don't just look great, but function flawlessly and, most importantly, convert visitors into gym members, swim school enrolments, and event bookings. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to build high-converting landing pages, refresh existing site layouts, and ensure a seamless user experience (UX) across all digital touchpoints. What you’ll be doing day-to-day: Designing & Developing: Mapping out UI concepts and layouts. Whether you start in Figma, experiment with AI tools, or use other design platforms, and bring them to life inside Webflow.Optimising UX/UI: Using your eye for modern design to map out user journeys that increase online sign-ups and enquiries.Tracking & Analytics: Collaborating with the marketing team to monitor page performance and user behaviour using Google Analytics and our custom-built internal tools.Streamlining Workflows: Working smartly by integrating modern AI tools into your daily design and development process to keep us agile.Brand Alignment: Ensuring all web presence aligns beautifully with the overall BlueFit brand using the Adobe Suite.System Maintenance: Handling routine monthly updates and general maintenance across our digital systems to keep everything secure and running smoothly. What we’re looking for: A strong portfolio: Proven experience designing and building live, functional websites (we want to see your past work, so please include a link).Design Tools: Solid skills in the Adobe Creative Suite, combined with the ability to navigate Figma and leverage AI tools. We care more about your eye for great UI than which specific software you used to sketch it.Webflow Experience: Experience with Webflow is highly desired. If you know how to build clean, responsive structures in Webflow, you’ll slide right into this role.A Conversion Mindset: A solid understanding of modern UI/UX principles, knowing what makes users click, scroll, and convert.Data & Tech Savvy: Comfortable looking at Google Analytics and working with custom tracking setups.
