Front-End Engineer Real-Time 3D (React / Three.js)
Seattle, Palo Alto, Washington DC, NYC, or Denver · $135K–$200K + RSUs
You will build the 3D command-and-control interface that operators use to detect, track, and intercept hostile drones over stadiums, airports, and military bases.
Your code renders the live tactical picture and fires the response.
Successful candidates will have shipped Three.js/WebGL in production!!!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build a real-time 3D command interface (React, TypeScript, Three.js) live sensor tracks rendered over 3D maps and terrainHigh-frequency data over websockets; render performance at scaleOperators interact with the scene: click a track to task a camera, reclassify contacts, trigger responsesShips to real field hardware (Docker, Kubernetes, edge)Occasional Python or Rust adapter work to integrate new sensors
REQUIREMENTS:
2–4 years front-end engineering (early-career role, not senior)Production React + TypeScriptShipped Three.js or WebGL work geospatial, simulation, or data-viz a plusReal-time front-end: websockets, streaming dataWorking knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, APIsGenuine interest in defense work regular contact with end users
