Here's a sense of what you'll do and the tools you might use: Cloud Platform Engineer As a Cloud Platform Engineer, your focus and expertise will help produce best practice automated, secure, and resilient cloud environments that make developers’ lives easier and keep delivery fast and safe. You’ll also understand and apply governance controls that fit the client’s environment and industry and ensure success for the whole team! You might work on: Designing, building, and maintaining cloud landing zones and automated platform infrastructure.Developing infrastructure templates and frameworks that will be used by multiple teams, across hybrid cloud and cloud-native environments.Supporting application teams in deploying and operating applications on cloud infrastructure, including assisting with incident response.Constructing CI/CD governance pipelines and remediating pipeline issues in application projects to streamline deployment for data, application and serverless cloud projects.Driving cloud security, governance, and identity management best practices across multi-tenant environments.Monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing cloud performance, cost efficiency, and system reliability.Collaborating with data engineers, architects, and product teams to pave the way for self-service platform tools.Helping teams adopt and make the best use of AI for agentic coding assistance, grounded knowledge synthesis (RAG) and reporting use cases.
