Test and Quality Engineer

Role : Test and Quality Engineering Location : Poland Contract Role Role-specific requirement Test strategy: end-to-end coverage of functional, integration, system, UAT, unit, regression, performance, security, reliability and automation testing; full traceability from requirements to defects; risk-based approach; experience with complex, integrated, multi-system enterprise landscapes Operating model: scalable model (centralised, federated or hybrid TCoE) with clear roles/accountability across development, QA and business; integration with DevOps pipelines and release management; roadmap from current-state to mature target-state quality function Tooling and automation: automated testing across UI, API, integration and end-to-end layers; integration into CI/CD pipelines; test orchestration, regression automation, reusable assets and test-as-code; measurable improvements in coverage, efficiency and release quality; practical use of AI to improve testing effectiveness Agile governance: definition and governance of Definition of Ready and Definition of Done, release quality gates, UAT governance and acceptance criteria Test data and environments: synthetic data generation, masking and anonymisation; lifecycle management, refresh, synchronisation and governance of dev, SIT, UAT and pre-production environments Skills: access to Test Architects, Test Managers, QA Engineers and Automation Engineers (SDETs), with defined competency frameworks and structured capability development Metrics and improvement: quality metrics framework covering delivery, quality, automation and business impact, used to improve release stability and reduce production defects Continuous quality engineering: integration with DevOps, observability and monitoring; shift-left and shift-right approaches (incl. production validation); support for resilience, performance and reliability Additional evaluation criteria: experience establishing and operating modern testing functions and TCoEs; strength of automation, DevOps, CI/CD and AI-enabled quality approaches
