Lead Automation QA Engineer

About The Role As a Lead Automation QA Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. This project is with a global Financial Services Provider that focuses on providing responsible credit to underbanked customers in international markets. The current strategy centers on consolidating technology delivery to a single partner to drive efficiency and operational excellence. You will join the Customer Application. The primary mobile application serves as a critical self-service tool for over 800,000 users. It is currently undergoing a technology refresh, migrating to a modern framework to improve scalability, performance, and accessibility compliance across the organization's European footprint. Responsibilities Lead and manage testing teams and QA professionals (2+ years leadership experience)Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and end-to-end (E2E) test plansOversee risk identification, bug lifecycles, and define release proceduresAct as a strategic bridge between technical and non-technical teams, providing clear reporting on quality metricsMentor and develop team members to foster a collaborative and high-performing environment Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on mobile applicationsExpert knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies and proficiency in JIRA, Azure DevOps, Selenium, and PostmanExpertise in functional, non-functional (performance, security), and automation testingCompetence in Web Service testing (Postman/SoapUI) and front-end automation (Selenium/Playwright)Proficiency in SQL and navigating AWS/Azure DevOps environmentsExpert-level communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize workloads under pressure Desirable Experience with browser and OS testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack) and accessibility testingKnowledge of the Product Operating ModelExperience with test case management tools like XrayFamiliarity with log extraction and querying using Cloudwatch, Opensearch, and Kibana What’s in it for you?
