As part of our growing team, we're seeking a DevOps Engineer. Based in Madrid (El Escorial), this role will put you at the core of a public sector client's infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and performance of their containerized platform. Your Role You are a key pillar of our client's platform operations, providing hands-on technical expertise in containerization and platform administration. You'll ensure the deployment, optimization, and day-to-day operation of the client's OpenShift and container infrastructure.You'll work in a hybrid setup, with 3 days per week on-site at the client, coordinating closely with development and infrastructure teams to keep applications running smoothly and securely. Your Responsibilities -Administer and maintain the container platform (Kubernetes/OpenShift), ensuring stability and performance. -Deploy and manage application releases, including rollback strategies where needed. -Automate operational tasks through scripting and tools such as Ansible. -Monitor systems, diagnose incidents, and drive root-cause resolution. -Manage access control and apply security best practices within the container environment. -Collaborate with client teams to align on operational priorities and standards. What You Bring -3 to 5 years of experience in DevOps / infrastructure administration. -Expert-level hands-on experience with container management (Docker, Kubernetes). -Proven experience with OpenShift specifically. -Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting (Bash/Python, Ansible). -Comfortable working in public sector or highly regulated environments.
