QA Engineer

iToDEV – a super awesome mega cool IT company was established in 2006 (20 years and still counting. Which means, we know what we are doing). Our team with almost 40+ equally awesome people works on interesting, challenging and useful WEB systems and mobile apps for our Lithuanian and international clients. Across our projects, we already collaborate with AI to derive tests from specifications, automate user journeys and build quality checks directly into our delivery flows. Now we are looking for a Quality Engineer who can take ownership of this direction: see the bigger picture, choose the right approaches, build the missing flows and push what we already do even further. This is a hands-on builder role. You will work in real projects, turn quality risks into working technical solutions and help us make strong quality engineering a natural part of even more projects @iToDEV. What Quality Engineer does @iToDEV? Making sure our mobile apps and web systems don’t just work – they feel right.Looks at the whole product and identifies where the real quality risks are hiding – not just where another test case could be added.Reads specifications, user journeys, architecture and code changes to understand what might go wrong.Decides where we need end-to-end tests, API checks, visual regression, accessibility, performance, security or good old exploratory testing.Chooses what is worth automating and what really needs a human brain.Builds and maintains automated quality flows inside real project repositories and integrates them into CI/CD.Uses AI coding agents to research approaches, implement tooling, generate tests, investigate failures and improve existing flows.Turns repetitive manual regression into reliable automation while using exploratory testing where human judgement creates actual value.Investigates flaky tests and noisy pipelines instead of accepting that “sometimes it just fails”.Works closely with developers, analysts, PMs and designers – because quality still isn’t a one-person show. Your result is not simply “testing completed”. Your result is that the team has a reliable and repeatable way to understand whether the product works, what was covered and where the remaining risks are. From our QAs @iToDEV, we require: Have 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience in quality engineering, test automation, software engineering or a similar technical field.Understand software testing principles, test architecture and risk-based testing – not just how to make all test cases green.Have enough technical know-how to work with code, Git, repositories, APIs, development environments and CI/CD pipelines.Have built or significantly improved at least one real automated quality flow.Can choose a suitable approach without waiting for someone else to tell you which framework or test type to use.Have practical experience with at least one WEB or mobile automation stack.Use AI coding agents in your daily work or are seriously ready to make them part of it.Can recognise when an AI-generated solution is brittle, insecure, unmaintainable or simply solving the wrong problem.Take ownership from “we have a quality problem” to “we now have a working solution”, even when the technology is unfamiliar.Have enough English for technical documentation and everyday project communication. You may come from either WEB or mobile quality engineering. We do not expect you to know every framework under the sun. If you understand the principles, know how software is built and can use AI as a capable technical partner, moving to another stack should not be a scary adventure. Extra Karma Points Go For Experience with Playwright, Cypress, WebdriverIO, Appium, Detox, Flutter integration tests, XCUITest, Espresso or similar tools.API and contract testing experience.Visual regression, screenshot or accessibility testing.Performance and load testing.Know a bit about security testing – maybe not a hacker, but you know what OWASP is about.Working with real devices, emulators, simulators or platforms such as BrowserStack.Building reusable testing utilities, templates or agent workflows that saved someone from doing the same job manually for the fifteenth time.Spotting a flaky test faster than your phone spots free Wi-Fi at a coffee shop.
