Role SummaryOwn the infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational reliability behind LOOP's AI platforms for government and enterprise clients. The role covers everything from provisioning cloud environments and automating releases to meeting the data residency and security requirements that come with public-sector work in Saudi Arabia. ResponsibilitiesDesign, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure) using Infrastructure as Code — Bicep or Terraform — across dev, staging, and production environmentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for application, model, and database deploymentsContainerize workloads and manage orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS), including scaling, resource limits, and rollout strategiesSet up monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards; define SLAs/SLOs and drive down incident response timeManage environment configuration, secrets, and access control (Key Vault, RBAC, managed identities)Enforce data residency and regional deployment constraints, and produce audit-ready evidence of compliance when clients or regulators request itSupport deployment into client-controlled or on-premise environments, including air-gapped or restricted networks where requiredManage database operations — backups, restore testing, migrations, high availabilitySupport AI/LLM workloads specifically: GPU or inference endpoint provisioning, model deployment and versioning, vector database operations, cost controlHarden systems against security findings and support penetration testing and remediation cyclesDocument architecture, runbooks, and handover material in a form clients can reviewRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience3+ years in DevOps, SRE, platform, or cloud engineeringStrong hands-on Azure experience (AKS, App Service, Storage, Networking, Key Vault, Monitor); AWS or GCP acceptable as a secondaryInfrastructure as Code in production — Bicep, Terraform, or ARMSolid Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, TLS, load balancing, VNets, firewalls)Scripting in Bash and Python or PowerShellGit-based workflows and branching strategiesWorking Arabic and EnglishPreferredAzure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400) or CKAExperience deploying into Saudi government or regulated environments, including familiarity with NCA controls, SDAIA/NDMO guidance, and PDPLMLOps exposure — model registries, inference serving, GPU cost optimizationExperience with client-side security reviews, VAPT remediation, and compliance documentationObservability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Application Insights, ELK)
