Job Description We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer for a project for a client from the banking sector. Responsibilities Building a custom WordPress theme from scratch (no page builders involved) Creating well-structured, reusable content components using ACF Pro Developing custom Gutenberg blocks Bringing Figma designs to life with great attention to detail Improving website performance (loading times, caching, asset handling) Writing clean code that's easy to maintain and extend Working closely with the frontend/UI team and the delivery team Profile / Requirements At least 5 years of hands-on experience with custom WordPress development Strong PHP skills (following WordPress standards) Solid practical experience with ACF Pro (a must-have) Good command of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Proven experience building custom themes from the ground up Understanding of performance optimisation and SEO fundamentals Comfortable working in a structured, component-based way Nice To Have Experience in developing Gutenberg blocks Basic DevOps knowledge (deployments, environments) Experience working in regulated industries (banking, fintech) Familiarity with AWS or managed hosting Benefits B2B contract 100% remote work An interesting project for a financial institution AO4175
