Senior Electrical Engineer | Finsterwalde, Germany We're currently recruiting a Senior Electrical Engineer on behalf of a leading international engineering contractor delivering large-scale data centre projects in Finsterwalde, Germany. The Role As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical engineering activities on a major construction project, coordinating technical design with onsite installation through to commissioning and successful project handover. Working alongside the Project Manager and multidisciplinary project teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Review electrical designs and identify design gaps or technical issuesValidate cable sizing and provide technical recommendationsPrepare and manage electrical technical submittalsCoordinate with suppliers, contractors and project stakeholdersMonitor procurement and equipment deliverySupport coordination between the design, BIM and construction teamsCarry out electrical system walk-downs and support commissioning activitiesPrepare test packs, O&M manuals and project documentationProvide technical support throughout the project lifecycleMentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement within the engineering team Requirements: Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services EngineeringMinimum 7 years' project engineering experience, ideally within a construction environmentExperience delivering Commercial, Industrial, Pharmaceutical or Data Centre projectsExperience with both LV and MV electrical systemsKnowledge of current electrical design standards, regulations and codes of practiceExperience preparing technical submittals, technical reviews and assessmentsExperience working with clients, vendors and contractorsStrong communication, organisational and problem-solving skillsCommercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities Package: Permanent positionCompetitive salaryFlights, accommodation, travel and car hire providedNewly awarded large-scale data centre projectsExcellent career development opportunities within an international engineering contractor If you're interested in learning more, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
