Description

Key Responsibilities:  Design, implement, and integrate gNMI/gNOI-based northbound interfaces in SONiC using OpenConfig YANG models, enabling SDN controller interoperability.  Extend and customize SONiC NOS for advanced Ethernet and optical circuit switch(OCS) platforms, ensuring scalability and operational consistency.  Develop and maintain SONiC Redis database schemas and synchronization logic across management and control components.  Build, containerize, and orchestrate SONiC services using Docker, ensuring modularity, maintainability, and performance.  Develop automated tests, validation scripts, and simulation frameworks for SONiC platform bring-up and API verification.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, ASIC, and SDN controller teams to deliver fully integrated SONiC-based networking solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications:  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.  Strong proficiency in C/C++ for system and infrastructure programming and Python for automation and testing.  Deep understanding of SONiC NOS architecture, including its management framework and Redis-based database design.  Experience implementing gNMI/gNOI services and working with OpenConfig YANG models for configuration, telemetry, and RPC interfaces.  Solid grasp of Linux kernel networking, user-space networking services, and container-based system design.  Hands-on experience with Docker, debugging containerized environments, and optimizing service performance.  Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and cross-layer system analysis skills.  Proficiency in Mandarin and English for eƯ ective collaboration with global hardware and software teams. Preferred Qualifications:  Strong understanding of SONiC database architecture with Redis and OpenConfig Yang model  Strong understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking protocols.  Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Gitea.  Knowledge of AI/ML data center architectures and SDN paradigms.
