Full Stack Software Engineer - Trading Workflow Technology

My client is a leading global technology-driven financial services firm is expanding a strategic engineering team responsible for building business-critical applications used by front-office professionals across multiple asset classes and global markets. The team develops software that supports decision-making, workflow management, analytics, and operational processes in a highly data-intensive environment. Working at the intersection of modern user experiences and scalable backend systems, you will help create tools that enable users to access information, manage complex workflows, and respond quickly to changing market conditions. Responsibilities Design and develop modern full-stack applications that support complex business workflows.Partner with end users and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful software solutions.Build responsive web applications with a strong focus on usability, performance, and maintainability.Design and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems.Develop tools that process and visualize large volumes of real-time and historical data.Prototype new functionality and evolve successful concepts into production-grade software.Contribute to architectural decisions, engineering best practices, and platform improvements.Collaborate across engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable systems.Requirements 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.Strong full-stack development experience across frontend and backend technologies.Commercial experience with React and TypeScript.Experience developing applications using Python and/or C++.Experience designing and building distributed or service-oriented systems.Strong understanding of API development, asynchronous processing, and scalable architectures.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.Preferred Experience working in data-intensive or real-time application environments.Exposure to highly available, business-critical software platforms.Understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging systems.Experience building analytics, workflow, visualization, or decision-support applications.Exposure to financial services, trading technology, enterprise software, or other complex operational environments.
