About Us Within Earth Holidays is a leading global B2B travel technology company operating large-scale, mission-critical production systems. We are looking for a hands-on Lead Infrastructure Engineer to own and manage our production infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain on-premises Windows and Linux production infrastructure.Deploy, configure, and manage physical servers and virtual machines.Manage XCP-ng virtualization infrastructure and Xen Orchestra.Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot HAProxy load balancers.Ensure high availability with a near-zero downtime production environment.Plan and execute infrastructure scaling to support business growth.Lead production incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive improvements.Drive DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) best practices.Configure and maintain monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning.Manage SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse, and PostgreSQL infrastructure.Manage VPNs, firewalls, DNS, SSL certificates, VLANs, routing, and enterprise networking.Implement backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and security best practices.Perform server hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.Support CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.Automate operational and infrastructure tasks using Bash or PowerShell (Python knowledge is an advantage).Evaluate and implement new infrastructure technologies and solutions.Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and infrastructure diagrams.Work closely with development teams to improve application reliability and performance.Participate in on-call production support and be willing to work rotational shifts, varying working hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
