Security Infrastructure Developer

Our client, a digital advertising company representing brands in iGaming, is currently looking to hire a Security Infrastructure Developer. Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain server infrastructure across WHM, cPanel, Plesk, and Cloudflare to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.Investigate and respond to threats on SEO networks, including Malware, Phishing, Man-in-the-middle, DDoS, and SQL injection, applying the appropriate fixes.Monitor SIEM dashboards and server logs to detect anomalies and security events, producing clear written reports on findings and resolutions.Identify and coordinate takedowns of phishing domains, spoofed websites, and brand impersonation cases with ISPs and relevant authorities.Build and maintain automation scripts for server management platforms to handle cron jobs, patch management, and user onboarding/offboarding.Run penetration tests and security audits after infrastructure changes, documenting results and recommending improvements.Conduct risk assessments and compliance checks for third-party applications in line with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and NIST CSF.Maintain threat intelligence feeds and share information with vendors, ISPs, and security databases to improve phishing and spam detection.Harden cloud and on-premises environments using IAM policies, encryption, logging, and network segmentation.Manage and secure PBN infrastructure, maintaining consistent uptime and protection across all hosted assets.Resolve technical issues, configure servers, and upgrade infrastructure to keep the network running at full performance.Document system findings, incidents, and remediation steps for internal reporting and audit purposes. Requirements: Strong written and verbal English communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.1–2 years of hands-on experience in web security, server administration, or infrastructure.Working knowledge of WHM, cPanel, and/or Plesk for server configuration and user management.Solid Linux command-line proficiency with the ability to work independently.Ability to read and act on server and access logs to identify and resolve issues.Basic to intermediate scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PHP for automation tasks.Good understanding of common attack vectors Malware, Phishing, SQLi, DDoS, and MITM with the ability to detect and respond to them.Familiarity with Cloudflare, including DNS management and WAF configuration.Organised, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities at once. Nice to Have! Experience with SIEM platforms or security monitoring tools.Familiarity with PBN management and SEO infrastructure.Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, or NIST CSFExperience managing or securing WordPress installationsUnderstanding of web hosting environments and IP classes.Cloudflare Worker setup experience and/or AI-driven automation.Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+, eJPT, or CEH (completed or in progress).
