Are you a hands-on engineer who thrives at the intersection of industrial robotics, control systems, and Linux server infrastructure? We are expanding our robotics operations and looking for an Automation Engineer (L2) based in Estonia to help install, optimize, and maintain our newly released Robotic Standard Automation (RSA) systems. If you love diagnosing hardware-to-software system issues under pressure, tweaking ladder logic, and keeping complex robotic setups running smoothly, this role is for you. What You’ll Do? Robotics & Controls: Troubleshoot, maintain, and monitor advanced control systems and robotics (including Yaskawa GP7). Work with PLCs, Ladder Logic, HMIs, and sensors (LiDAR, Encoders, Solenoids, Cameras).Systems & Infrastructure: Resolve Linux (Ubuntu/Debian) and Windows server issues, device driver conflicts, and network setups (VLANs, VPNs, Cisco/Meraki).Automation & Maintenance: Deploy and maintain infrastructure using tools like Ansible, Git, Docker, and Dell OpenManage; script routine tasks with Python or Bash.Onsite & Field Support: Perform root-cause analysis on complex hardware/software issues, capture log data, and execute preventative system maintenance. What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of progressive experience in system server, network support, and industrial automation.Practical experience troubleshooting PLCs, Ladder Logic, and control circuits (photoeyes, solenoids, limit switches).Strong working knowledge of Linux administration and scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).Experience with industrial sensor integration (LiDAR, IMU, encoders, pneumatic circuits).Familiarity with Yaskawa GP7 systems, AWS (CloudWatch), or configuration management tools (Ansible, Docker) is a strong plus.Ability to work effectively onsite and in an on-call rotation with distributed teams.
