About The Role Joining Keepit as an Operations Engineer, you will participate in a 24/7 operations team that operates, monitors, maintains, and troubleshoots our global cloud service operations. We have extensive installations throughout the world. Our focus is on ensuring reliable and predictable operations. You will: Implement and monitor logging, alerting, and monitoring to ensure system health, performance, and reliabilityWork on the development and extension of automation tooling to improve operational efficiencyProvide support for both hardware and software systemsMaintain and update documentation for daily operations and proceduresDeploy, operate, and maintain Linux systems in a data center environmentParticipate in incident response, troubleshooting, and post-incident root cause analysisCollaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system stability, reliability, and performanceCollaborate closely with the security team to design and implement new security solutions.Support system upgrades, patching, and security updates across the infrastructureContribute to capacity planning and performance optimization of infrastructure systems Working Hours This role requires shift work to support 24/7 operations, including day shifts, night on-call rotations. About You Must-haves: Strong knowledge of Linux systemsGood understanding of networking concepts, including: TCP/IP / NAT / VLANs / Firewalls (nftables)Excellent troubleshooting skills and strong command-line proficiencyExperience with automation tools and IaC, preferably Ansible and AWXFamiliarity with the Grafana LGTM stack (Grafana, Mimir, Loki, Prometheus) is highly desirableStrong analytical thinking and ability to solve problems independentlySelf-discipline, creativity, and motivation for continuous learningGood verbal and written English skills (minimum B2 level) Nice-to-haves: Experience with Debian/Ubuntu environmentsExperience working in an Agile environmentHands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CDKnowledge of PostgreSQL (administration, basic performance tuning, backups)Experience with Pacemaker / Corosync high-availability clusteringExperience with containers and KubernetesFamiliarity with ISO 27001 and ISAE 3402 standardsCCNA certification or equivalent networking knowledge About us Our platform provides customers with an immutable, historical archive of their data in systems such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce, Entra ID, Dynamics 365, and Zendesk.
