Software Engineer – Full Stack (AI Platform)Location: San Francisco, CA (Preferred) or New York, NY (Bryant Park)Job Type: Full-Time | On-site (5 days/week) We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join its founding engineering team. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and enhance autonomous AI agents that automate end-to-end insurance workflows. • Develop and ship full-stack features across frontend, backend, and infrastructure. • Build responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript. • Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Golang. • Design reliable, high-performance distributed systems and asynchronous processing pipelines. • Improve AI infrastructure, compute systems, observability, monitoring, and operational reliability. • Collaborate directly with customers to understand business processes and deliver tailored technical solutions. • Work closely with Product and Go-to-Market teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and execute product roadmaps. • Take ownership of projects from concept through deployment and production support. • Contribute to engineering best practices, code quality, testing, and system scalability. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience (high-impact candidates with strong experience may also be considered). • Strong experience building full-stack applications. • Proficiency in React and TypeScript for frontend development. • Strong backend development experience with Golang. • Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices. • Strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and asynchronous processing. • Experience with cloud infrastructure and scalable production systems. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership and accountability. Preferred Qualifications • Experience building AI or machine learning-powered applications. • Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, or autonomous workflow automation. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. • Knowledge of monitoring, observability, logging, and production operations. • Previous startup or early-stage company experience. • Exposure to insurance, fintech, or enterprise SaaS products.
