About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI Developer with expertise in Angular and Electron to join our dynamic team at Kaav. This on-site role is based in Woonsocket, requiring the candidate to be local and available to work from day one. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, particularly with ReactJS and Angular frameworks, as well as proficiency in Node.js for backend integrations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative desktop and web applications, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences. Qualifications Applicants should possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in UI development with Angular and Electron is essential, along with a solid understanding of ReactJS and Node.js. Familiarity with Java programming language is required, and additional skills in related technologies will be considered advantageous. Candidates must demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Being local to Woonsocket is mandatory, as this is an on-site position from day one. Responsibilities The Senior UI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality user interfaces for desktop and web applications. Key duties include translating design wireframes into functional code, ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility, and optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. The role involves collaborating with backend developers to integrate APIs and services using Node.js, troubleshooting and resolving UI bugs, and implementing best practices for UI/UX design. Additionally, the developer will participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and stay updated on emerging front-end technologies to continuously enhance the product offerings.
