Summary

Work as a Data Engineer building, optimizing, and supporting modern data pipelines in a cloud-first environment. You will own data products end to end, champion DevOps practices, manage infrastructure and deployment automation, and ensure solutions meet high standards for security, scalability, observability, and performance. You will also collaborate with product stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a Data Mesh environment while driving engineering improvements and reducing technical debt.

Senovo IT is looking for Data Engineer opportunity with one of our clients based in Stockholm, Sweden. Contract Details: Duration: Initial 12-month contract with strong possibility of extensionLocation: Stockholm, Sweden (Hybrid)Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Take end-to-end ownership of building, optimizing, and supporting both existing and new data pipelines aligned with the target vision on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Champion a DevOps culture by managing CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure, primarily within GCP.Ensure data products are developed as independent deployment units and meet standards for security, scalability, observability, and performance.Work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to define the vision for data products and identify new business opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to enable data sharing and integration within a Data Mesh environment.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen engineering practices, and reduce technical debt.Stay up to date with developments in data engineering, analytics, and cloud technologies.
