Working within a professional line maintenance environment, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled mechanical maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, defect rectification and component replacement while ensuring compliance with CASA regulations and company procedures. This is a permanent Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night shift position for an initial 12-month period. Candidates must already be Sydney-based, with no relocation assistance or FIFO available. An August commencement, or as soon as onboarding is completed, is preferred. You will: - Perform line maintenance on the Dash 8 Q400 fleet - Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft defects - Complete inspections, repairs and component installations - Maintain accurate maintenance documentation - Work safely within a regulated operational environment - Collaborate closely with engineering and maintenance teams Why Apply Through Sigma Aerospace Workforce? Essential Requirements Required Role Experience: Recent line maintenance experience on the De Havilland Canada Dash 8 Q400 is essential. Maintenance Qualification / Licence: Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) with relevant Q400 maintenance experience. Work Rights: Must have full Australian working rights. Location / Availability: Must already be Sydney-based. Relocation assistance and FIFO are not available. Available to commence in August or as soon as onboarding is complete. Additional Requirements: Current ASIC Current AOD Valid Australian Driver's Licence Skills: Strong troubleshooting ability, defect rectification, documentation discipline, operational awareness and excellent spoken English with clear technical communication skills.
