Title Network DevOps Engineer – Multi-Cloud Infrastructure Automation Client Leading Enterprise Technology Company Location Palo Alto, California Schedule Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite Type Full-time, Ongoing W2, 6-Month Contract, New Role & Potential Extension/Conversion Benefits 2 Weeks of PTO, 1 Week of Paid Sick Leave, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life Insurance, Disability Coverage Compensation $68/hour, with overtime pay and a half Summary Our client is seeking a hands-on Network DevOps Engineer to support network automation, cloud infrastructure deployment, and multi-cloud connectivity initiatives across a large-scale enterprise environment. This role will partner closely with infrastructure, cloud, and engineering teams to build, deploy, and maintain network automation solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency. This position is ideal for a technically strong professional with experience in cloud networking, Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, building automated solutions, and supporting highly available environments across multiple cloud platforms. Key Responsibilities Infrastructure-as-Code & Network Automation Develop, maintain, and enhance Terraform modules used to provision cloud networking resources across multiple environmentsAutomate infrastructure deployment activities using Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies and best practicesSupport standardized network architecture and automation initiatives that improve consistency and operational efficiency Cloud Networking & Connectivity Configure and support networking components across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Oracle Cloud environmentsImplement and maintain cross-cloud connectivity using native cloud networking services and secure connectivity solutionsSupport deployment and management of virtual networks, routing, load balancing, and traffic management services Python Automation & Operational Excellence Develop and troubleshoot Python scripts used to automate routine network operations and infrastructure tasksBuild automation workflows that simplify administration, improve accuracy, and reduce manual effortIdentify opportunities to enhance operational processes through scripting and automation technologies CI/CD & DevOps Support Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot infrastructure deployment pipelines supporting network automation initiativesSupport source control, code reviews, branch management, and deployment activities using Git-based workflowsEnsure infrastructure changes are tested, validated, and successfully deployed through automated processes Network Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration Respond to infrastructure requests related to cloud networking, connectivity, and environment modificationsPartner with engineering, cloud, and infrastructure stakeholders to support ongoing operational initiativesDocument procedures, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and deployment standards to improve operational readiness Required Education & Experience Bachelor's degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience5–8 years of experience in Network DevOps, Cloud Networking, Infrastructure Engineering, or related disciplinesHands-on experience supporting cloud-based network infrastructure within enterprise environments Required Skills & Qualifications Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologiesProficiency in Python scripting for automation, orchestration, and API integrationHands-on experience supporting networking solutions within AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Oracle Cloud InfrastructureExperience configuring cloud networking services including virtual networks, routing, security controls, and connectivity solutionsStrong understanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment automation practicesDaily experience working with Git, pull requests, branching strategies, and source control workflowsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while effectively collaborating across cross-functional teams Preferred Skills & Qualifications Experience supporting large-scale multi-cloud enterprise environmentsExperience building reusable Terraform modules and managing Terraform state across multiple environmentsBackground supporting network automation and cloud modernization initiativesExperience with API-driven infrastructure management and automation frameworksPassion for Infrastructure-as-Code, automation, DevOps culture, and continuous improvement
