Summary

Join a high-performing engineering and operations team responsible for operating and expanding a sovereign cloud environment serving European customers. You will improve availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency while participating in on-call support and collaborating with global teams. Strong Linux, networking, scripting, and large-scale systems experience is required, along with fluent English and EU citizenship with current EU residency.

Description

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role Oversee ongoing operations and expansion of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) Collaborate with global teams and influence the evolution of AWS services and technology Enhance day-to-day operations and ensure continuous improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the ESC Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents Deliver scalable services and ensure a high-availability experience for EU customers What You'll Need Experience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting, or networking administration and troubleshooting Experience in Python, Perl, or another scripting language Experience in Systems engineering, site reliability engineering, building and operating systems at scale Must be a national of an EU member state and residing in the EU Able to lead the creation, revision, and/or improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs) and driving operational best practices Fluency in written and spoken English What's On Offer Opportunity to contribute to the European Sovereign Cloud initiative Relocation support within the European Union for successful applicants Challenging and impactful opportunity within a best-in-class engineering and operations team Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, and Bedrock Apply via Haystack today!
