Senior Java Developer

📍work from Poland📍 Project Description: Development of margin calculation platform for one of the Top Investment Banks. The project team is lean and agile and is distributed across UK, New York, Shanghai and Warsaw. We're looking for a Java Developer for our margin terms and workflow management system built with Java-based and .Net based technology stack on backend and Angular frameworks on frontend. Responsibilities: - Participate in .Net to Java migration project, minor support of legacy .Net components - Development and delivering backend application components in time and with high-quality using Java (for new components); - Proactive involvement in the global development process; Mandatory Skills Description: - Strong knowledge and 6+ years of experience in the full life-cycle of software development processes including data analysis, architecture design, coding and testing; - Proficiency in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems including Spring, JMS, JPA (Hibernate); - Ability to work independently without supervision in global environment; - Upper-intermediate English, good communication skills; - Knowledge and experience in Database (Oracle preferred, MSSQL/Sybase OK) Nice-to-Have Skills Description: - Familiarity with build tools such as Maven; - Familiarity with continuous integration; - Understanding of REST and its best practices Languages: English: B2 Upper Intermediate
