Senior Python Fullstack Software Engineer with React

The successful candidate will join the ACQA Quant Platform technology team as a full stack developer, and will be responsible for the development of webapps with advanced analytics and backend automation tools for the derivatives business across all asset classes. Responsibilities: • Develop analytics and optimization tools including GUI and backend services leveraging the capabilities of the Aqua platform • Collaborating within the aqua high-performing, delivery-focused ACQA Business Solutions team • Collaborate with front office users to understand requirements and propose new solutions • Working closely with ACQA quants and Library quants and the risk engine team to deliver solutions that matters • Mastering complex business domains to provide solutions to critical business problems Mandatory Skills Description: • Software engineering background preferred • Strong academic background in a applied engineering field (computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, etc) • Proficiency in functional & object-oriented programming, especially Python • Experience in full stack development including frontend webapps and backend services • Power user of MS Azure cloud infrastructure to deploy webapps and services • Past experience of delivering solutions via AGGrid and SSRM incorporating large datasets • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you like to figure out how things work • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, and the desire to work together with stakeholders • Familiarity with Investment Banking, FinTech, or Financial Markets • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Languages: English: B2 Upper Intermediate
