Description
We're hiring a Developer who loves designing high-availability systems, mentoring great engineers, and shipping code that scales.

Work location: The Vertical Business Suite, Bangsar South., Malaysia
Working time: Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, work at the office 100%
Responsibilities
Own what you ship.
Take full responsibility for your work — from design to delivery — and consistently hit the commitments you make to the team and stakeholdersUse AI to multiply quality and speed.
Leverage AI coding assistants and agentic workflows to write better code, catch issues earlier, accelerate reviews, and improve engineering efficiency across the teamArchitect for scale.
Design and build high-availability, fault-tolerant backend services and APIsDrive technical excellence.
Set standards for code quality, CI/CD, security (PCI DSS), testing, and code reviews — and make sure the team lives by themLead incident response.
Own root cause analysis for production issues and turn lessons learned into lasting improvementsPush the stack forward.
Research emerging tech, run POCs, and bring the best ideas back to the teamLift the team.
Mentor mid- and junior-level developers through pair programming, code reviews, and knowledge sharingPartner with the business.
Collaborate on complex customer projects to find the right technical solution
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldProven experience delivering large-scale, high-traffic backend systems in productionBackend / full-stack experience in production environmentsProficiency in Java and/or .NETHands-on with cloud (AWS or similar), Docker/Kubernetes, and serverlessHands-on experience with at least one AI coding assistant in real projects (not just trial use)Solid fundamentals: clean code, testing, code review, Git workflowAwareness of data security & responsible AI usage (no sensitive data in prompts, etc.)
