Senior DevOps Engineer Position Details We're seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and help sustain our high standard of customer support. In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting our enterprise clients by applying your knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)/AWS/Azure, private cloud environments, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Prometheus, ELK, and related tools. You'll collaborate directly with clients to understand their requirements and deliver customized solutions that drive their success. Success in this position depends on your ability to quickly pick up new technical areas and share that knowledge with others. Responsibilities Deliver expert-level support for cloud migration and DevOps initiatives for enterprise clientsManage and fine-tune GCP resources, including GKE, Compute Engine, SQL/NoSQL databases, Cloud Storage, and moreDeploy, monitor, and oversee Kubernetes clusters and Docker containersBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using JenkinsTrack system performance and maintain high availability through PrometheusEstablish and manage log analysis and monitoring via the ELK stackProvide support and optimization for private cloud infrastructurePartner with cross-functional teams to design and build infrastructure solutions tailored to customer needsProvide outstanding client-facing support with a strong commitment to customer successCoach and train colleagues on emerging technical areas and best practicesDrive continuous improvement in processes and systems to boost efficiency and reliability Mandatory Qualifications 8–10 years of overall experience in cloud technical support and DevOpsDemonstrated expertise in GCP/AWS/Azure, including GKE, Compute Engine, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Cloud StorageDeep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and DockerStrong command of CI/CD tools, particularly JenkinsSolid knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus and ELKWorking experience with Linux operating systemsProven track record managing and optimizing private cloud environmentsAbility to rapidly master new technical domains and train others effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform well under pressureExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesConversational Japanese language abilityA customer-first mindset with genuine enthusiasm for client satisfaction Desired Qualifications Prior experience in client-facing roles supporting enterprise customersGoogle Cloud Platform certifications or equivalentFamiliarity with additional cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plusExposure to infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
