DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing technology team within the gaming, sweepstakes, and crypto space. This role is responsible for building, maintaining, securing, and optimizing scalable cloud infrastructure and deployment environments across multiple high-availability platforms. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where uptime, automation, security, scalability, and reliability are critical. You will work closely with development, QA, security, product, and data teams to improve deployment velocity, platform stability, and operational efficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-availability AWS cloud infrastructureDevelop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deploymentsImplement infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormationManage Kubernetes, Docker, container orchestration, and cloud-native toolingImplement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure platform health and performanceMonitor system reliability, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and resolve performance bottlenecksSupport production environments across gaming, sweepstakes, crypto, and payment-related systemsImplement and enforce cloud security best practices, access controls, secrets management, and compliance standardsCollaborate closely with development and QA teams to improve deployment workflows and release reliabilitySupport disaster recovery, backup strategies, failover mechanisms, and business continuity planningAssist with infrastructure scaling during high-traffic campaigns, launches, and peak activity periodsSupport incident management and participate in on-call rotations where requiredMaintain documentation for infrastructure architecture, operational procedures, and technical standardsContribute to evolving DevOps standards, tooling, automation, and engineering cultureTechnical Requirements3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or related rolesStrong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native infrastructureExperience managing production environments with high uptime and scalability requirementsStrong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized environmentsExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Github Actions, or CircleCIExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform and CloudFormationSolid understanding of Linux systems administrationStrong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languagesExperience with monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, Splunk, or CloudWatchStrong understanding of networking, DNS, VPNs, load balancing, CDNs, firewalls, and cloud security practicesExperience with Git workflows and deployment automationFamiliarity with microservices and serverless architecturesExperience supporting distributed or multi-region systems is considered an assetExposure to gaming, iGaming, sweepstakes, fintech, payments, or crypto environments is highly preferredPreferred ExperienceExperience operating within regulated or high-risk environmentsExposure to blockchain infrastructure, wallets, or crypto-related servicesExperience handling rapid scaling environments and high transaction volumesFamiliarity with PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or similar technologiesAWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps-related certifications are considered an assetSoft SkillsStrong ownership mentality and problem-solving mindsetComfortable working in fast-moving and evolving environmentsAbility to prioritize effectively under pressureStrong communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailProactive, adaptable, and solutions-oriented approachAdditional NotesThis role description is not exhaustive and responsibilities may evolve in line with business requirements and company growth.The successful candidate may be required to support occasional out-of-hours deployments, incident response, or critical infrastructure activities where necessary.
