Senior Software Engineer

We are currently partnering with a global leader in the digital food and convenience sector to find an experienced Senior Software Engineer for their Berlin based operations. This organization operates a massive tech platform that bridges the gap between millions of customers and hundreds of thousands of partners worldwide. In this role, you will join a specialized, high impact engineering squad focused on accelerating the delivery of critical product features. Your primary focus will be enhancing the customer experience through advanced marketing and communications tools. You will participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from initial architectural design through to deployment and maintenance. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the Berlin office and two days of remote work. You will report directly to a Technology Manager and play a vital role in translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Core Responsibilities Develop and maintain high quality software following industry best practices and ensure all changes are robust in a production environment. Write clean code to established standards and mentor other engineers through pairing and peer reviews. Collaborate with Product Managers and cross functional teams during workshops to define new product features. Introduce and implement modern development patterns and standards within the team. Maintain transparency regarding project progress and contribute ideas to reach overarching technical goals. Candidate Requirements Extensive professional experience with C sharp and the dot NET ecosystem. Practical experience working with AWS or similar cloud providers like Azure or GCP, including knowledge of Kubernetes. A deep understanding of software engineering fundamentals including data structures, design patterns, and microservices architecture. Experience building event driven distributed systems and working with RESTful design. Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or CosmosDB. Proven ability to take full ownership of technical initiatives and drive them to completion independently.
