The difference you will make In this role, you will play a key part in transforming traditional broadcast technology into modern, cloud-based platforms. Your work will directly support the delivery of live audio services that operate 24/7 across multiple countries. You will design and build resilient, scalable infrastructure, helping shape a platform that supports innovation across broadcast, digital and future AI-driven initiatives. Your role You will design, build and operate cloud-based broadcast platforms, combining hands-on engineering with architectural thinking to deliver reliable and scalable audio services. Design and build cloud-based platforms for live audio broadcasting using AWSCreate resilient, highly available systems that support 24/7 operationsDevelop pipelines for audio ingestion, processing and distributionLead hands-on delivery using infrastructure-as-code and automationSupport the migration of broadcast systems from on-premise to cloudCollaborate with engineering, product and business teams across multiple marketsIntegrate third-party tools and vendor solutions into the platformEnsure platforms are scalable, reusable and cost-efficientContribute to documentation, standards and best practiceContinuously improve platform performance, resilience and user experience The skills you will bring Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)Background in broadcast engineering, live audio or similar environmentsExperience designing or supporting cloud migrationsUnderstanding of distributed systems and platform scalabilityFamiliarity with containerisation and modern DevOps practicesAbility to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical colleaguesConfidence working in a hands-on, delivery-focused roleExperience in media or broadcasting (helpful but not essential)Exposure to international or multi-region environments (helpful) Working Pattern & Location This role is based in London or Manchester with hybrid working.
