Description

Alpine Business Consulting works with organizations that have outgrown their reporting systems. We specialize in taking complex, broken configurations and turning them into reliable platforms for finance teams. We often step in when an implementation has gone wrong, leaving a company with data that does not match and manual processes that take too much time. Our goal is to provide a single source of truth that our clients can trust every morning. Right now, we are focusing on a major project where our partner is a major logistics provider in the global shipping sector. They require updated dashboards and reporting tools to manage their vast supply chain data, and we are looking for an Associate Frontend Developer to help us build these interfaces. About the role This is a full-time, permanent position designed for someone early in their career. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from wherever you are most productive. You will join a small, focused team of senior consultants who have years of experience with Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and modern data stacks. While our seniors handle the complex backend configuration and financial logic, you will focus on the user interface. Your job is to ensure that the data the logistics provider sees is organized, accessible, and easy to interpret. This is a practical role centered on building functional tools that solve real business problems without unnecessary corporate fluff. What you will be doing You will be working on the front end of our reporting applications, translating functional requirements into clean, usable web pages. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Developing and maintaining user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Building reusable components within modern frameworks like React or Vue. Working with senior consultants to understand how financial data needs to be displayed for the logistics team. Fixing bugs and addressing layout issues across different browsers and devices. Assisting with the documentation of the frontend architecture so the client can manage the system after handover. Collaborating on API integrations to ensure data flows correctly from the backend to the dashboard. Participating in code reviews to learn best practices and maintain code quality. Ensuring that all interfaces follow the provided design specifications and brand guidelines. What we need from you We are looking for someone with a solid foundation in web development who is eager to learn how enterprise systems work. You do not need years of professional experience, but you should have: A basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript. Some experience with a frontend framework, such as React, Vue, or Angular, perhaps from university projects or personal work. The ability to write clean, organized code that others can understand. A strong interest in data visualization and how to present complex information clearly. Good communication skills and the ability to explain your technical choices. A disciplined approach to remote work and the ability to manage your own schedule. A focus on documentation, ensuring that every feature you build is properly recorded. Basic familiarity with Git or other version control systems. What we offer This position is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your work-life balance effectively. We offer a competitive salary that is attractive for an entry-level role in the current market. Because we are a senior-led consultancy, you will have the chance to learn directly from experts who understand the realities of enterprise software. You will see how projects are managed from the initial quote to the final handover. We value transparency and predictability, so you will always know what is expected of you and how your work contributes to the success of the logistics project. How we work At Alpine Business Consulting, we avoid the typical overhead of large consulting firms. We do not use client projects as a training ground for dozens of junior staff. Instead, we bring in junior developers like you to work on specific, meaningful tasks under the guidance of our seniors. We believe in fixed-price quotes and clear project timelines. Documentation is a core part of our delivery. We do not just build a system and leave: we provide the guides and training the client needs to remain independent. We prioritize clean data and functional design over flashy trends that do not add value to the finance team. If you prefer a straightforward, professional environment where the focus is on doing the job right the first time, you will fit in well here.
