Large Scale Global Transformation ProjectAI and Next Gen TechnologyHybrid Working Model Our Client is seeking an L3 Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain the platforms, tooling, and automation that power our applications. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain cloud-native platform infrastructure to support application development and deployment.Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation to streamline software delivery.Manage and optimise Kubernetes-based environments (EKS), ensuring high availability and scalability.Create and maintain automation using Go and/or Bash scripting to improve operational efficiency.Collaborate with product and application teams to understand requirements and deliver platform solutions.Troubleshoot complex platform and infrastructure issues, providing L3 escalation support.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform.Ensure platform security, reliability, and performance across cloud-native architectures.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation and optimisation. Key Requirements Experience: Strong experience in DevOps and Platform Engineering environments.Kubernetes: Proven hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred).Scripting & Automation: Strong scripting and automation skills using Go and/or Bash.CI/CD: Experience developing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Infrastructure as Code: Knowledge of IaC practices and cloud-native architectures.Software Engineering Background: Strong development experience is highly preferred.Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.Complex Projects: Experience delivering and supporting complex technical projects beyond standard web or mobile application environments.
