Role Description As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will join the engineering team responsible for maintaining and scaling the infrastructure behind these national-scale biometric and AI systems. You will work directly within high-impact production environments where uptime, performance, and reliability are critical. In this role, your core focus will be automating deployments, strengthening CI/CD pipeline reliability, and optimizing system architecture to support the seamless scaling of our AI platforms as we deliver large-scale projects globally. Responsibilities Infrastructure supporting large-scale biometric identity and AI systems (e.g. MOSIP). Systems handling millions of transactions, built to scale and stay resilient under load.Support tasks and infrastructure automation using various tools and technologies.Monitor and troubleshoot system and application performance issues.Collaborate with other teams to improve deployment efficiency.Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.Document processes, workflows, and technical solutions. Requirements Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.Experience using container orchestration technologies (Swarm, Kubernetes).Understanding of VM and container concepts (preferably Docker).Development experience in at least one programming language (Java, Go, Python, Ruby, Rust, etc.).Experience using Linux operating systems (Debian, Ubuntu, etc.).Scripting experience using Bash.Terminal knowledge (using editors, basic tools, etc.).Work experience using version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.).Setup experience with web servers (Nginx, Apache, etc.).Basic understanding of networking and protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, DNS, etc.).Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Nice to Have Qualifications Working experience with cloud technologies.
