We're looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Audio Software Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team working on next-generation embedded platforms. 🔹 Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and debug embedded software for ARM-based SoCs and embedded processors running Linux, Zephyr, and DSP platforms.Develop and maintain Linux kernel and Zephyr device drivers.Optimize embedded software for power and performance.Work on multimedia and audio frameworks, contributing to high-quality audio solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative embedded products.Contribute to open-source projects and support upstream development activities.🔹 Required Skills: ✔ 5–8 years of embedded software development experience. ✔ Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Python. ✔ Hands-on experience with ARM-based embedded systems and Linux OS. ✔ Expertise in Linux Kernel, Zephyr, and device driver development. ✔ Experience developing and debugging embedded software on ARM, Linux, Zephyr, and DSP platforms. ✔ Good understanding of embedded power and performance optimization. 🔹 Audio & Multimedia Experience: Experience with PipeWire, ALSA, or similar multimedia/audio frameworks.Understanding of audio signal processing fundamentals.Experience with audio use cases such as playback, recording, voice activation, voice calls, and context detection.Knowledge of audio interfaces including I2S, TDM, and SoundWire.Experience developing drivers for audio peripherals such as CODECs, speaker amplifiers, and digital microphones.🔹 Open Source Experience: Active contributor or maintainer of open-source projects such as Linux, Zephyr, ALSA, PipeWire, or similar.Understanding of open-source development, community engagement, and upstream contribution workflows.Experience working across both open-source development and commercial product environments is highly desirable. #Hiring #EmbeddedSoftware #EmbeddedLinux #LinuxKernel #DeviceDrivers #AudioEngineering #ALSA #PipeWire #Zephyr #DSP #ARM #EmbeddedSystems #CProgramming #CPP #Python #OpenSource #EngineeringJobs #TechJobs
