Where You’d Be Working Our Developer Team Lead will be based in Victoria, working within the Pronto Plus team and collaborating with internal stakeholders across the business to support the ongoing development, delivery and improvement of the Pronto Plus platform. What you’d be doing (your day would look like this): Responsibilities Your technical leadership, software development experience and ability to balance product ownership with team leadership will assist you in this role. Working closely with stakeholders and developers, our Developer Team Lead is responsible for: Leading and mentoring the Pronto Plus development team to deliver high quality outcomes aligned to business priorities.Owning and prioritising the product backlog, translating stakeholder needs into clear and achievable work items.Contributing to software development, technical design, code reviews and release activities.Driving continuous improvement through automation, efficient delivery practices and modern development approaches.Using stakeholder feedback, user research and operational data to improve platform functionality and user experience.Identifying, managing and mitigating technical, delivery and dependency risks.Building strong stakeholder relationships and providing clear, proactive updates on progress, priorities and outcomes.Managing team recruitment, onboarding, development, performance feedback and workforce planning activities.Facilitating collaboration across teams to resolve issues, manage dependencies and improve solution quality and supportability.Exploring and leveraging AI tools, coding assistants and emerging technologies to improve productivity, innovation and problem-solving.Reviewing and validating AI-generated code to ensure quality, security and architectural standards are maintained.Ensuring development activities align with Pronto coding standards, security requirements and organisational policies. About You We’re looking for a Developer Team Lead who has: A Degree or Diploma in Digital, Software Development, Project Management or another related field.At least 2 years’ experience as a Senior Developer and/or leading a development team.Strong software development and technical leadership experience.An understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, particularly Agile methodologies.Experience managing priorities, balancing competing demands and delivering outcomes to agreed timelines.The ability to guide technical decisions and support sustainable product development outcomes.Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills.Experience with Ruby development highly beneficial.Experience with API-based integrations highly beneficial.Experience with Pronto Xi ERP beneficial.Strong problem-solving skills, commercial awareness and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.Experience working with AI tools, coding assistants and modern software development practices.
