Description

About Digbi Health and Making an Impact: Digbi Health is the #1 Precision Biology platform in the world, and we are on a mission to fundamentally rewrite the script on chronic illness. We don’t just "manage" disease; we use the code of life to reverse illness and extend human healthspan. We sit at the high-velocity intersection of the four most explosive forces in modern history: The AI Revolution: Building the "Agentic" infrastructure that turns complex data into disease reversal and longevity actions. The Gut Microbiome: Decoding the second brain to solve GI health and systemic inflammation.Precision Genetics: Utilizing DNA as the ultimate blueprint for personalized care. The GLP-1 Breakthrough: Architecting the systems that ensure the world’s most powerful metabolic drugs actually deliver long-term, sustainable health outcomesWhile the rest of the industry plays in silos, Digbi Health has unified these forces into a single, cohesive platform. We are the leaders in managing Obesity, Diabetes, Cardio-metabolic, and GI health for the world’s largest insurance payers and employers. We are actively pursuing human trials with leading medical schools. Our programs demonstrably deliver superior health outcomes and financial savings to payers and employers. We are not looking for employees; we are looking for Product Engineers - Full-Stack Business Owners who are ready to step into this intersection and own the future of biology. If you are a startup veteran who thrives where deep science meets cutting-edge AI, you have found your home. About the RoleAt Digbi Health, we have killed the traditional "Engineer" role. We are looking for Full-Stack Business Owners (FSBOs). In an AI-first world, you are no longer a "coder" waiting for a ticket. You are a role-agnostic product engineer who owns the entire lifecycle of a business problem—from identifying the root cause to system thinking and architecting the solution, AI-human interface, monitoring and driving the final business outcome. You will be evaluated on your ability to demonstrate the following 10 traits in every effort and product feature you build The FSBO Manifesto: What You Must DemonstrateRole Agnostic (The True Full-Stack): You collapse the boundaries between PM, Designer, front-end/backend Engineer, evaks, and QA.Obsessive Root Cause Resolution: You don’t patch symptoms. You dig deep into data and systems to identify the foundational cause of friction.Comfort with Ambiguity: You move forward and build even when the roadmap is blurry.Bias for Action/Building: A working prototype is your preferred form of communication. Fix it immediately and perfect it quicklyTrue System Thinker: You understand how your effort ripples through the business. Why are you building what you're building? You obsess over the agent-human interface, ensuring AI and humans work together seamlessly.User Problem Obsession: You fall in love with solving the problem and monitoring its impact on the business. You build dashboards to track how people are using what you built.Experimental Mindset: Every deployment is a hypothesis to be proven or disproven.Planning for Failure: You build "Control Centers" (observability) to catch issues before the business feels them.Absolute Accountability: You take 100% ownership of the final business outcome. No excuses.AI-First & MCP Mindset: Everything you build is built on AI. You think in Model Context Protocol (MCP)—standardizing how AI models interact with our data so that what you build can be "touched" and utilized by other AI agents. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Vertical Ownership: Own the end-to-end success of specific features (e.g., GLP-1 refills, wearable integrations) and their impact on business KPIs like churn and compliance.Deep Systems Architecture: Architect scalable, resilient full-stack systems focusing on simplicity and user impact.Data Platform Mastery: Design unified health-data models integrating CGM, genetic, and microbiome data.AI Agent Integration: Build secure gateways and SDKs that power real-time AI agents and personalized care.Monitoring & Observability: Spend 5–10 minutes daily reviewing the data in the "Control Center" you built to identify friction points. Detailed Technical Specifications1. Agent-Native Infrastructure & The MCP MindsetMCP Server Development: You must be able to build and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that expose Digbi’s clinical data and tools to LLMs (Claude, Gemini, GPT) in a standardized, token-efficient way.Agentic Workflows: Deep understanding of the difference between a "Chatbot" and an "Agentic Workflow." You build systems that can reason, use tools, and call other agents.API-as-a-Tool: You design APIs that are self-documenting for LLMs—ensuring that agents can discover, understand, and execute your endpoints without human intervention.2. Core Full-Stack (The Foundation)Backend: 3+ years of high-performance Java (Spring Boot/Microservices).Frontend: 1+ years of React / React Native. You build a "Generative UI" that adapts based on agent output.Cloud: Expertise in AWS/GCP, serverless architectures, and streaming data (Kafka/Kinesis).3. AI/ML & Data Systems (The Last 18 Months)Vector Databases: Proficiency with OpenAI Vector stores, Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) workflows.LLM Orchestration: Experience designing and implementing workflows for complex, multi-step reasoning, including task decomposition, state management, tool integration, and structured outputs.Precision Biology Data: Ability to architect data models for genetics, microbiome, and CGM data that are "agent-consumable." What You Bring1+ years in high-growth startup environments (Non-negotiable).1+ years of Java and 1+ year of React/React Native experience.Demonstrated Ownership: A track record of taking a project from an ambiguous idea to a measurable business success.Technical Breadth: Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), distributed systems, and modern AI/LLM architectures.Accountability: A "zero-whining" mindset where you fix things first and provide actionable feedback second. If you are ready to stop being an "engineer" and start being a Business Owner, we want to talk to you.
