Job Description: As a Cloud Engineer, you will: Monitor and support private cloud, hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments in a 24×7 operational setting.Perform proactive infrastructure monitoring, alert management, troubleshooting and incident response activities.Provide operational support across cloud infrastructure, networking, systems administration and cybersecurity domains.Conduct real-time cybersecurity monitoring and assist in identifying, escalating and responding to potential threats or security incidents.Support Microsoft-based cloud and infrastructure technologies including Azure, Windows Server, Microsoft 365 and related platforms.Assist with infrastructure patching, system maintenance, backup verification and operational health checks.Maintain operational documentation, incident records and knowledge base articles following IT service management best practices.Collaborate with internal engineering teams to improve automation, monitoring, resiliency and operational processes.Participate in shift rotations, after-hours support and major incident response activities when required. Requirements: Experience supporting IT infrastructure, cloud platforms or managed services environments.Good understanding of infrastructure and networking fundamentals including: DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewalls, TCP/IP, Routing & connectivity conceptsFamiliarity with Microsoft ecosystem technologies such as: Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active DirectoryBasic understanding of cybersecurity concepts including: Threat monitoring, Endpoint security, Vulnerability management, Security incident handlingStrong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and documentation skills in English. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in: NOC environments, SOC environments, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), 24×7 support operationsExposure to: SIEM platforms, Monitoring tools, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools, Azure security servicesScripting or automation experience using: PowerShell, Bash, PythonKnowledge of ITIL processes and operational best practices.
