At a glance We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Business Developer to help shape and deliver a new solution that will enable the bank to conduct ad-hoc scenario analysis across multiple risk types. You will play a key role in the intersection of business and technology—translating complex risk and methodology requirements into a scalable, user-friendly product. Working closely with stakeholders across Risk, IT, and senior leadership, you will guide the product from concept to launch and ensure it delivers real business value. Your job Key Responsibilities Drive the development of a new platform focused on ad-hoc scenario analysis across multiple risk typesTranslate business needs, requirements, and methodologies into clear technical specifications for the development teamWork closely with engineering teams to define priorities and design product featuresOwn the full product lifecycle—from ideation and design to delivery and launchCollaborate with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, and IT to ensure alignment and adoptionContribute to creating an intuitive, modern user experience for a complex analytical toolManage timelines, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure successful execution Working environment ABN AMRO works in an agile DevOps environment and you will become part of a multidisciplinary team - which we call a block - of business and IT within the Financial Risk grid. The Financial Risk grid is with approximately 350 colleagues responsible for (a.o.) RWA calculations, credit risk models, IFRS9 provisions, risk classifications, stress testing and scenario analysis, and Distressed Client Management. Because the Financial Risk grid is at the heart of the bank's various value chains, your stakeholders are not only within Risk Management departments, but will cover business functions, Finance and other grids. You work in co-operation with a group of experienced colleague business developers. You have a strong understanding of both the business side of risk management and the technical side of product development, and you are passionate about turning ideas into tangible solutions. Technical Skills Required Skills & Experience Solid understanding of product development and IT environmentsExperience in building applications with modern UI/UX design principles & visualisation of complex information contentStrong knowledge of enterprise risk managementAbility to translate high-level business needs into specific requirements and those into corresponding concepts for data model, calculation logic, API and user interface Soft Skills Proven experience bringing a product from concept through to launchHighly delivery-driven with a focus on outcomes and impactStrong stakeholder management and project management skillsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical teams Nice to have Experience working in agile, start-up-style environments with a focus on rapid deliveryExperience with stress testing frameworks Knowledge of Azure OpenAI We are offering The above mentioned salary range is including holiday allowance and is based on a 36-hour workweek.The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary.
