Job Purpose
The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor is responsible for supervising a team of engineers, technical development, implementation, support, and improvement of production processes, oversees the development of documentation related to processes and management systems.
PAY RANGE
187,200.00 - 234,000.00 - 280,800.00 PLN Annual
Key Responsibilities
The person in this position will be responsible for:
Supervising the work of the process engineering teamProviding technical oversight of process optimization, implementing new advanced manufacturing technologies, and driving continuous improvement initiativesPlanning and documenting processes in accordance with standards (APQP, IATF 16949)Participating in and coordinating the work of cross-functional teams (problem-solving, TPM, SMED)Benchmarking with other PHINIA facilitiesCollaborating with other departments (quality, logistics, production, and others) in the development of documentation and process improvementProviding analyses, guidance, and support for production process improvement initiatives, including the effective use of problem-solving tools/techniques and statistical analysisSupporting customers in the implementation of new products through the use of APQPOptimizing process capability for special characteristics through the effective application of statistical techniques and production trainingOrganizing, scheduling, and supervising the work hours of subordinate staff
Required Qualifications:
Higher technical education: Mechanical Engineer, Production/Industrial Process Engineer, or related field5 years of experience in the areas of process engineering, production, quality, or project managementExperience in managing employees, preferably in the automotive industryPractical knowledge of: mass production processes, problem-solving toolsKnowledge of FMEA, process flow, and control plansAbility to apply techniques for analyzing the causes of defects/nonconformitiesAbility to investigate and evaluate process capability and measurement systemsKnowledge of technical drawing and dimensioningKnowledge of the IATF 16949 standardTechnical knowledge of products and processesAbility to manage a teamOrganizational and prioritization skillsKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma philosophies and techniquesKnowledge of continuous improvement toolsEnglish proficiency sufficient for fluent communication
