As a QA Engineer, you'll apply your expertise in test planning, design, development and maintenance, while contributing to the ongoing growth of the QA capability within the Engineering disc
ipline.
You'll take responsibility for quality assurance across services and projects that underpin critical public infrastructure and services, working closely with Lead Engineers, DevOps, and multi-disciplinary teams to build robust, repeatable, high-quality testing practices - helping deliver some of the UK's most important tech-for-good p

Be Doing
Planning, designing, developing and executing tests to assure high-quality software solutions for public sector and civic-impact projectsTaking responsibility for QA of services or parts of larger services across design, build, assure, deploy, operate and continually improve stagesWorking with Lead Engineers to understand designs and maintain up-to-date, repeatable test scriptsCollaborating with DevOps engineers to implement CI/CD pipelines supporting ongoing quality assuranceBuilding effective working relationships with client counterparts across government and public sector bodiesCollaborating across Engineering, User-Centred Design, Service Operations, Delivery Management and Data Science disciplinesPlaying an active role in driving innovation, best practice and Community of Practice events(Lead level) Structuring and providing assurance for the work of other QA pra

Looking For
