Senior Software Engineer Location: Miami, FL preferred (Hybrid arrangements possible) Employment: Full-time preferred; open to contract-to-hire for exceptional candidates The Opportunity We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing engineering team. This is a hands-on position focused on developing, enhancing, and scaling our platform. Experience in payroll, employee benefits, HRIS, or other mission-critical business software is highly desirable. What You'll Do Develop and implement new features across our platformEnhance the performance, stability, and scalability of existing systemsWork closely with Product teams to refine technical solutionsContribute to architectural and technical design decisionsWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested codeParticipate in code reviews and help uphold high engineering standardsProactively identify and resolve technical issues before they impact customersAssist in improving our automated testing and deployment pipelines This is a practical, hands-on engineering role where most of your time will be spent building software that delivers real value to our users. What We're Looking For: Core Skills and Experience 7+ years of professional software engineering experienceHands-on experience with Claude Code, Codex, or similar AI tools, and the ability to optimize their use for maximum efficiency and accuracyExperience working with end-to-end testing frameworks such as PlaywrightProven track record in building scalable web applicationsStrong API design and integration expertiseExcellent debugging and problem-solving skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment Domain Expertise (Highly Preferred) We believe that deep domain knowledge maximizes the effectiveness of coding solutions.
