Make an Immediate Impact as a Senior Developer As a hands-on Senior Developer, you will be at the forefront of enhancing and supporting our client’s foundational data infrastructure. You will dive into complex SQL Server batch processing environments, leveraging your SSIS expertise to optimize performance, build robust ETL solutions, and ensure seamless data movement. Your strong troubleshooting skills will be vital in maintaining operational reliability, performing root cause analysis for critical data and job failures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, documented solutions. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and support SSIS-based SQL batch jobs, ensuring high performance and reliability.Build and maintain robust ETL and data movement pipelines to support critical business operations.Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for peak performance and system reliability.Provide essential support for batch execution, monitoring, and proactive issue resolution in production environments.Perform thorough root cause analysis for data discrepancies or job failures, implementing effective solutions.Create clear and comprehensive documentation for SSIS packages, batch logic, and data flows.Collaborate effectively with QA teams, production support, and full-time engineering staff to deliver integrated solutions. Must-Have Qualifications 5+ years of proven software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with SSIS package development and ongoing support.Extensive SQL Server expertise, including complex query writing, stored procedure development, and performance tuning.Demonstrated experience in building and supporting SQL-based batch jobs.Working knowledge of .NET / C# for backend or batch workflow development.Experience supporting scheduled and automated jobs within production environments.Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve batch failures and data-related issues. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with enterprise job schedulers (e.g., SQL Agent, ControlM, Autosys).Experience working with and modernizing legacy batch jobs.Familiarity with Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.Previous experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments.
