Lead Software Engineer – Computer Vision & GeoAI | 100% Remote | 2-Year Contract Our client is looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Computer Vision and GeoAI to lead the development of two innovative AI-driven software products. The role focuses on building scalable cloud-based solutions, developing advanced image processing capabilities, and driving technical excellence within a long-term engineering project. Project Details: Duration: Approximately 2 years Start Date: ASAP Workload: Full-time Location: 100% Remote Responsibilities: Lead the technical development of a digital project platform and AI-powered road construction softwareDesign and develop AI solutions that generate reliable construction quantities from drone and aerial imageryBuild and enhance applications using Computer Vision, Deep Learning, GeoAI, and photogrammetryContribute to the design and implementation of modern cloud architecture and full-stack applicationsCollaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performance software solutionsSupport technical decision-making and help build and lead an engineering team as the project grows Requirements: Extensive experience in Computer Vision and AI-based image processingStrong knowledge of Deep Learning techniques and modern software engineering practicesExperience with GeoAI and/or photogrammetry is advantageousSolid background in cloud technologies and scalable software architectureExperience with full-stack development in modern application environmentsPrevious technical leadership or team lead experience is beneficialExperience in power line construction is not required; strong technical expertise is the priority
