Mid-Weight Level Developer

Were working with a fast-growing and ambitious business in Plymouth thats looking to add a Mid-Level Web Developer with Shopify experience to their expanding in-house team. The Opportunity Youll be responsible for developing, customising and maintaining Shopify-based websites, working closely with designers, account managers and senior team to deliver fast, scalable and conversion-focused online stores. This is a great opportunity for a developer who enjoys variety across projects and hands-on Shopify development. Key Responsibilities Build and customise Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, production-ready storefronts Develop and maintain custom Shopify features and components Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and services (payments, shipping, CRM, etc.) Optimise website performance, speed, and SEO Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing Shopify stores Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects to deadline and specification Requirements 25 years web development experience Strong hands-on experience with Shopify development Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 Experience working with Shopify themes and APIs Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility Familiarity with Git version control Awareness of SEO and performance optimisation best practices Desirable Skills Experience developing Shopify apps Knowledge of React or modern JavaScript frameworks Experience with Shopify Hydrogen or headless commerce Package & Benefits £42,000 annual salary Full-time, on-site role in Plymouth Varied project work across multiple brands and industries Supportive team environment with career progression opportunities If you are interested or have the relevant experience and are currently looking for a new challenge then please submit an up to date CV by clicking the apply button.
